The Buy My Duck Teachers' Resource Kit is comprehensive and contains print resources designed to help you engage students in the Buy My Duck competition while instructing them in important life skills.
The materials link to the National Curriculum (Statements of Learning) and to WA Learning Outcomes and provide classroom activities designed to meet a wide range of curriculum requirements. Not only will they assist teachers to meet core curriculum standards, but the additional enterprise learning nature of the activities fulfil compulsory civic and community curriculum requirements.
Units are split into:
- Primary school activities for years 3 to 7; and
- Secondary school activities for years 8 – 12
Buy My Duck provides an integrated, flexible program of classroom activities across the disciplines of Society and Environment, Technology and Enterprise, English and Maths.
