The Residential Tenancies Act 1987 is changing. The Department of Commerce is in the final stages of preparing changes to residential tenancies laws which are expected to be be completed early in 2013. The changes have NOT started yet, but we have prepared a summary of important information for landlords so you can prepare for the changes.

Legislation

The relevant laws in WA are the Residential Tenancies Act 1987 (the Act) and the Residential Tenancies Regulations 1989. You can buy copies of the Act and Regulations from:
