The Land Valuers Licensing Board has resolved to hold an inquiry into the conduct of licensed land valuer Ronald Graeme O'Connor of Willeton.
Mr O'Connor has been charged with 14 breaches of the Land Valuers' Licensing Act 1978 and the Land Valuers' Code of Conduct 1985.
The charges relate to valuations conducted by Mr O'Connor between 1994 and 1997.
Mr O'Connor has been listed to appear before the Board at 9am on February 16, 2000 to answer the allegations.
If Mr O'Connor is found guilty of the alleged breaches, the Land Valuers Licensing Board has the power to impose fines as well as suspend or cancel a valuer's licence.
Commissioner for Fair Trading Patrick Walker said the charges were the result of a long and comprehensive investigation by Ministry staff.
