Company Directors Joel Lawrence Dullard and Lawrence Charles Dullard have raised the ire of consumers, prompting the Consumer Protection Commissioner to publicly warn consumers against dealing with the pair or their Frobisher street Osborne Park air conditioning business Air Attention.
“After 51 complaints from dissatisfied consumers and numerous attempts by our department to help the traders resolve problems with their customers, I feel it is in the public interest to strongly advise consumers to look elsewhere for their air conditioning needs”, Consumer Protection Commissioner Patrick Walker said.
Consumers have alleged that the traders took large deposits for equipment, did not complete work within reasonable time frames and that on occasions, only partial supply and installation of equipment eventuated.
Consumer Protection began closely monitoring the business when its investigations began uncovering information that indicated the business might have cash flow problems.
“Although Mr Joel Dullard has told us that the company’s disputes with customers concerned international supply problems which he had no control over, our investigators remain unconvinced and we therefore hold serious concerns for anyone who chooses to do business with this company”, Mr Walker said.
Anyone who is experiencing problems with Air Attention that has not already contacted Consumer Protection for assistance should do so without delay. Consumer Protection maintains a Named Trader Data Base which consumers can access by telephoning 1300 30 40 54.
