Proposed regulations for residual current devices in residential premises - public consultationComments are invited from industry stakeholders and the public concerning EnergySafety's proposal to require all residential premises to be fitted with residual current devices, also known as safety switches, at or before the sale of the property or, in the case of rented premises, within 24 months of publication of the regulations in the Gazette. Further details are available in the position paper and the draft regulations. Comments should be sent to EnergySafety by 28 November 2008.
