Your First Job is a set of learning modules about employment. It is a program for year 10, 11 and 12 students and for young people entering the workforce for the first time.
Your First Job will provide you with information about the rights and responsibilities of employees and employers.
It will help you understand different issues that you may come across in the workplace and how you can best resolve them.
It is important to understand that there are two different industrial relations systems operating in Western Australia, the State and the federal systems. The information in this program mostly relates to the State system. The information may vary if an employee is covered by the federal system.
