WA PayChecker - is an online wages calculator that helps you compare your pay and conditions

What is WA PayChecker?WA PayChecker

The WA PayChecker application compares pay and conditions under a relevant WA award with an agreement or contract of employment.  The program calculates the amount of earnings over a year, including penalties, allowances and leave entitlements under an existing WA award.

The system uses a relevant Wa award as a benchmark and may not be a precise representation of an employee's or employer's legal entitlements or obligations. 

Using WA PayChecker enables you to:

  1. check if a proposed contract of employment or agreement alters any pay or conditions compared to this WA award for a typical working week;
  2. calculate the amount that you could earn over a year, including penalties, allowances and leave entitlements under an existing WA award; and
  3. compare the calculations with your proposed agreement or contract.

WA PayChecker calculates monetary benefits provided by WA awards.

It does not consider non monetary benefits such as rest breaks, rostering arrangements or safety at work. In comparing a proposed contract or agreement with the relevant WA award you should also consider these non-monetary benefits.
