Workshops for WA system employers – sole traders and partnerships

Are you employing staff in a restaurant, café or catering business?

This FREE information workshop is for business owners covered by the Restaurant, Tearoom and Catering Workers Award. The workshop provides valuable information for employers, book keepers and managers in the industry.

This two hour workshop is designed to assist small business employers understand their employment obligations under State awards and legislation.  The workshop also provides a great opportunity for employers to ask questions and get practical information on managing staff within the legal framework.  Each attendee will receive an information pack and handouts.

Small business employers have access to free, professional and confidential employment advice

The Small Business Service offers free and confidential information and advice on:

  • employment obligations;
  • record keeping requirements;
  • understanding and interpreting relevant award provisions; and
  • paying employees the correct wages and entitlements.
