Induction into the Science Hall of Fame recognises meritorious contribution to the science community over an extended period of time.
The 2008 WA Science Hall of Fame inductee was:
Emeritus Professor John de Laeter - for his dedication to advancing science education and influencing the direction of physical sciences research internationally.
