WorkSafe is working with employers, employees and employee representatives to set up and maintain systems of work so that employees are not exposed to hazards.
Currently WorkSafe has eight safety priorities:

- Forklifts;
- Guarding;
- Hazardous substances;
- Manual handling;
- New and young workers;
- Slips and trips; and
- Working at height.
