Fill up today if you want to pay less for your petrol – that’s the advice from FuelWatch.


On Thursday, 26 June 2014, most Caltex and Caltex Woolworths sites are increasing their ULP price by 16 cents per litre (cpl) up to 161.9 cpl, most Gull sites up to 160.9 cpl and most BP, Coles Express and Peak sites up to 159.9 cpl.


Tomorrow's metropolitan average price for ULP will be 157.9 cpl, however there will be over 40 Perth sites selling below 150 cpl. Given that Perth ULP prices follow a weekly cycle, with Thursday and Friday being the most expensive days, FuelWatch recommends filling up today and paying no more than 146.6 cpl.


Wednesday’s cheapest ULP is available for:

  • 143.3 cpl at United Roleystone in the East;
  • 143.1 cpl at Caltex Woolworths Canning Vale, Caltex Woolworths Warnbro Fair and Coles Express Fremantle in the South; and
  • 143.1 cpl at Caltex Woolworths Clarkson, Caltex Woolworths Osborne Park, Coles Express Duncraig and Coles Express Clarkson in the North.


Thursday’s cheapest ULP will be available for:

  • 143.3 cpl at United Roleystone in the East;
  • 143.1 cpl at Caltex Woolworths Murdoch, Caltex Woolworths Canning Value, Coles Express Fremantle and Peak Forrestdale in the South; and
  • 143.1 cpl at Coles Express Duncraig, Coles Express Clarkson, Caltex Woolworths Whitfords, Caltex Woolworths Greenwood and Gull Dianella in the North.


Tomorrow’s metropolitan average price for LPG will be 88.2 cpl, however there will be 30 Perth sites selling below 85 cpl. Thursday’s cheapest LPG will be available for 79.9 cpl at BP Kelmscott, BP Koondoola, BP Langford, Caltex Woolworths Beckenham, Caltex Woolworths Mirrabooka, Coles Express Langford and Coles Express Malaga.
