Fill up today or tomorrow if you want to pay less for your petrol - that's the advice from FuelWatch.

On Wednesday, 6 June 2012, some BP sites are increasing their ULP price by 9 cents per litre (cpl) to 149.9 cpl.

However, tomorrow's metropolitan average price for ULP will be 139.6 cpl and there will be more than 50 Perth sites selling below 137 cpl.

Given that Perth ULP prices follow a weekly cycle, with Thursday and Friday being the most expensive days, FuelWatch recommends filling up today or tomorrow and paying no more than 137 cpl.

Wednesday’s cheapest ULP is available for:

  • 135.9 cpl at Gull Kalamunda, Gull Lesmurdie and Gull High Wycombe in the East;
  • 134.1 cpl at Coles Express Casuarina in the South; and
  • 134.1 cpl at Coles Express Mt Lawley and Coles Express Warwick in the North.

Tomorrow’s LPG average price will be 78 cpl, however there will be more than 40 sites selling below 75 cpl.

FuelWatch advises drivers to ALWAYS check the price of petrol before they buy.
