Problems with Department of Commerce outgoing emails from 4 March 2016

This announcement is for:
Business / companyConsumer

If you are expecting an email from the Department of Commerce and have not received it you should firstly check your spam folder and if it is not in there, make contact by phone to chase it up.

Since Friday, 4 March 2016 emails sent from accounts may or may not have been received due to technical issues at our end.

If you need to receive emails from the Department of Commerce, for example daily FuelWatch alerts, bonds information from Consumer Protection, licence renewal reminders from WorkSafe or a response from any of our contact centres, you should add to your ‘Approved’ or ‘Safe Sender’ list. This is known as ‘whitelisting’. Instructions on how to ‘whitelist’ vary depending on your email service provider (Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo etc.) but can easily be found via an online search.
