WorkSafe investigates death of worker in Boyup Brook

WorkSafe Inspectors are travelling to Boyup Brook to investigate the work-related death of a logging worker at a worksite. 

Inspectors will interview witnesses and investigate the circumstances.

The man was believed to have been felling trees and was crushed.

WorkSafe thoroughly investigates serious work-related injuries and deaths in Western Australia with the aim of prevention.

WorkSafe WA Commissioner Lex McCulloch said any work death is a tragedy and sends his sincere condolences to the man’s family.
