Consumer Protection provides advice and information to consumers and traders in relation to consumer protection and fair trading laws.
Consumer Protection organises a number of consumer protection-related events and activities, and also participates in a number of events and activities organised by other groups. See the Consumer Protection Calendar of Events.

Consumer Protection Awards
Nominations are now closed. Winners to be announced in March.
Winners will be announced at a ceremony held in March. The awards aim to reward and recognise consumer advocates in our community. Nominees are people or organisations working to promote or protect consumer rights, such as: assisting consumers with money management, educating the community about scams, striving for a better deal for consumers in the market place or creating safer products.
