Curtin University (Bentley) - Membranes, oxygen and renewable energy. 

A new process for making improved transport membranes with a distinctive structure and property.

The Mitsubishi Corporation WA Innovator of the Year Overall Winner was Curtin University (Bentley).

Mitsubishi Corporation Emerging Innovation Category Winner

MiReven Pty Ltd (Nedlands) - A microRNA cancer therapeutic. 

A novel cancer treatment based on the research of a particular molecule, known as miR-7, with anti-cancer activity when introduced into certain cancer cells.

Mitsubishi Corporation Emerging Innovation Category Winner

The Mitsubishi Corporation Emerging Innovation Category winner was vMiReven Pty Ltd (Nedlands).

Mitsubishi Corporation Growth Category Winner

SEQTA Software (Joondalup) – The SEQTA Suite. 

An online, real-time collaborative teaching and learning ecosystem that enables schools to manage attendance, student welfare, lesson planning, curriculum mapping, marking and academic reporting while also engaging parents and students in an interactive, supportive community.

Mitsubishi Corporation Growth Category Winner

The Mitsubishi Corporation Growth Category Winner was SEQTA Software (Joondalup).

Woodside Oil and Gas Encouragement Award Winner

Inflatable Packers International Pty Ltd (Osborne Park) - Inflatable Casing Packers.

The Inflatable Casing Packer is designed for use on downhole casings in the oil and gas industry. It seals off the circular space between the casing, and either an open hole or another casing. The unique valving mechanism has a very large flow area in order to avoid erosion and blockage of the casing. This allows the inflation and shut-in operations to occur at different pressures ensuring reliable operation and results.

Amcom and Cisco ICT Encouragement Award Winner

CASWA Pty Ltd (O’Connor) - AccessPack.

An innovative access control system that ensures equipment can only be used by authorised personnel. It can be fitted to any type of electrically powered device including mobile, remote and battery operated equipment.
