Regional Dates for the Queen's Birthday Public Holiday

Section 8(1) of the Public and Bank Holidays Act 1972 enables the Governor to declare alternative public holidays in specific regions within Western Australia.  It is common practice for regional local governments to request an alternative date of significance within their municipalities.

The following are the alternative regional Queen’s Birthday dates which have been gazetted:
