Choosing a buyer’s agent when buying residential property

While you are probably familiar with real estate agents who represent a seller in a real estate transaction, you may not be so familiar with real estate agents who represent a buyer. Where a prospective buyer engages a real estate agent to help them find and buy a suitable property, these agents may be known as buyer’s agents.

This guide is intended for buyers of residential property (whether for their own use or for rental purposes), who wish to engage a buyer’s agent.
