Kick start 2019 by getting your CPD points early!

Compulsory Professional Development (CPD) is a legal requirement for all licensed settlement agents.

In 2018, nearly 10 per cent of agents failed to complete their CPD in time with many leaving it too late in the year to enrol in available courses. Failure to complete your CPD requirements in 2019 could result in your triennial certificate not being renewed, as you may not satisfy the requirement that you are a fit and proper person to hold a licence.

Consumer Protection’s website provides detailed information about the CPD program for licensed settlement agents, including details of the approved subjects for 2019.

The Australian Institute of Conveyancers (WA Division) will be delivering CPD activities to the settlement industry in 2019. Contact AICWA directly for bookings.

RevenueWA is also offering elective CPD sessions. For booking enquiries, use the RevenueWA Online booking tool or contact them by email.

Distance learning in 2019

Participants operating in remote or regional areas may be eligible to complete their CPD points through distance learning.

Further information on the eligibility criteria for distance learning is available on Consumer Protection’s website.
