EnergySafety carried out an investigation into the cause of the fire near Breakwater Drive, Two Rocks Western Australia on 16 January 2009. It was determined that the fire occurred when two 22 kV conductors clashed, releasing hot metal particles that ignited the dry grass and bush stubble on the ground.
