Australian Marine Complex (AMC)

The Australian Marine Complex (AMC) is a world-class Centre of Excellence for manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, technology, repair and maintenance servicing activities in the marine, defence and resource industries.

Located on the shores of Cockburn Sound, 23 kilometres south of Perth in Western Australia, the AMC has been developed to facilitate and enhance the opportunities created by the clustering of these industry sectors.

The AMC comprises four precincts and two facilities:

  • Technology Precinct
  • Fabrication Precinct, including the recently developed Subsea Cluster
  • Shipbuilding Precinct
  • Support Industry Precinct
  • Common User Facility
  • Marine Support Facility.
