In 2014-15 WorkSafe proposes to conduct the following safety projects subject to availability of resources.

Agriculture, forestry and fishing

  • Vegetable growing
  • Broad-acre farming project

Construction industry

  • Concrete & masonry cutting and carbon monoxide exposure
  • Manual tasks in residential construction industry
  • WorkSafe will continute to investigate serious injuries/fatalities at construction sites in WA

Cultural and recreational services

  • Royal Show - WorkSafe will attend this yearly high profile event to ensure safety management systems are maintained and the risk of injury to workers and the public is reduced as far as practicable.
