Plumbers and other building industry participants are invited to free metropolitan and regional information sessions presented by the State Government’s Building and Energy team this month.

One series of seminars will outline new requirements for plumbing at survey strata lot developments.

“Plumbers, builders and developers will have the opportunity to learn more about new standards for subdivision plumbing work in relation to survey strata schemes,” Building and Energy A/Executive Director Saj Abdoolakhan said.

Other events will discuss energy efficiency in residential buildings.

“This session will be of particular interest to building surveyors, energy assessors, designers and those involved in residential energy efficiency compliance,” Mr Abdoolakhan said.

“Topics will include energy efficiency compliance pathways and changes, as well as real-world examples of energy ratings and reports.”
