Fill up today if you want to pay less for your petrol – that’s the advice from FuelWatch.

On Thursday, 17 July 2014, most Coles Express sites are increasing their ULP price by 14 cents per litre (cpl) up to 162.9 cpl. Most Caltex Woolworths sites are increasing their ULP price up to 160.9 cpl, most BP, Caltex and Gull sites up to 159.9 cpl and most Peak sites up to 158.9 cpl.

Tomorrow's metropolitan average price for ULP will be 158.1 cpl, however there will be over 40 Perth sites selling below 150 cpl.

Given that Perth ULP prices follow a weekly cycle, with Thursday and Friday being the most expensive days, FuelWatch recommends filling up today and paying no more than 149 cpl.

Wednesday’s cheapest ULP is available for:

• 145.9 cpl at Gull High Wycombe in the East;
• 142.1 cpl at Coles Express Bentley, Coles Express Singleton and Caltex Woolworths South Lake in the South; and
• 142.1 cpl at Coles Express Warwick, Caltex Woolworths Greenwood and Caltex Woolworths Karrinyup in the North.

Thursday’s cheapest ULP will be available for:

• 142.1 cpl at Caltex Woolworths Midvale in the East;
• 142.0 cpl at Gull Como and Gull Causeway (Victoria Park) in the South; and
• 142.1 cpl at Coles Express Warwick and Caltex Woolworths Greenwood in the North.

Tomorrow’s metropolitan average price for LPG will be 88.8 cpl, however there will be 15 Perth sites selling below 85 cpl. Thursday’s cheapest LPG will be available for 77.9 cpl at Caltex Woolworths Mirrabooka and Coles Express Malaga.
