Fill up today if you want to pay less for your petrol – that’s the advice from FuelWatch.
On Thursday, 18 September 2014, most Caltex, Puma Energy and BP sites are increasing their ULP price by 14 cents per litre (cpl) up to 152.9 cpl. Most Caltex Woolworths, Coles Express and Gull sites are increasing their ULP price up to 151.9 cpl, and most Peak sites are increasing their price up to 150.9 cpl.
Tomorrow's metropolitan average price for ULP will be 149.5 cpl, however there will be more than 35 Perth sites selling below 140 cpl.
Given that Perth ULP prices follow a weekly cycle, with Thursday and Friday being the most expensive days, FuelWatch recommends filling up today and paying no more than 138.8 cpl.
Wednesday’s cheapest ULP is available for:
- 133.1 cpl at Coles Express Forrestfield in the East;
- 133.1 cpl at Coles Express Casuarina and Caltex Woolworths Canning Vale in the South; and
- 133.1 cpl at Coles Express Duncraig and Caltex Woolworths Joondalup Winton Rd in the North.
Thursday’s cheapest ULP will be available for:
- 133.1 cpl at Coles Express Forrestfield in the East;
- 133.1 cpl at Coles Express Casuarina in the South; and
- 133.1 cpl at Coles Express Duncraig in the North.
Tomorrow’s metropolitan average price for LPG will be 85.5 cpl, however there will be 20 Perth sites selling below 80 cpl. Thursday’s cheapest LPG will be available for 74.9 cpl at Caltex Woolworths Mirrabooka and Coles Express Malaga.
