Fuel price advice for Perth drivers

Fill up today if you want to pay less for your petrol – that’s the advice from FuelWatch.

On Thursday, 2 October 2014, most Caltex and Caltex Woolworths sites are increasing their ULP price by 14 cents per litre (cpl) up to 154.9 cpl. Most BP, Coles Express and Puma Energy sites are increasing their ULP price up to 153.9 cpl, most Gull sites up to 152.9 cpl and most Peak sites up to 151.9 cpl.

Tomorrow's metropolitan average price for ULP will be 151.2 cpl, however there will be over 30 Perth sites selling below 140 cpl.

Given that Perth ULP prices follow a weekly cycle, with Thursday and Friday being the most expensive days, FuelWatch recommends filling up today and paying no more than 141.0 cpl.

Wednesday’s cheapest ULP is available for:

  • 135.0 cpl at Puma Energy Mundaring in the East;
  • 134.8 cpl at Caltex Woolworths Southern River in the South; and
  • 134.8 cpl at Caltex Woolworths Joondalup Winton Road in the North.

Thursday’s cheapest ULP will be available for:

  • 135.1 cpl at Coles Express Forrestfield in the East;
  • 134.8 cpl at Caltex Woolworths South Lake in the South; and
  • 134.8 cpl at Caltex Woolworths Greenwood in the North.

Tomorrow’s metropolitan average price for LPG will be 85.0 cpl, however there will be 30 Perth sites selling below 80 cpl. Thursday’s cheapest LPG will be available for 74.9 cpl at Caltex Woolworths Mirrabooka and Coles Express Malaga.
