Fill up today if you want to pay less for your petrol – that’s the advice from FuelWatch.
On Thursday, 14 August 2014, most BP sites are increasing their ULP price by 14 cents per litre (cpl) up to 153.9 cpl. Most Caltex and Coles Express sites are increasing their ULP price up to 152.9 cpl, most Gull, Caltex Woolworths and Puma sites up to 151.9 cpl and most Peak sites up to 150.9 cpl.
Tomorrow's metropolitan average price for ULP will be 150.5 cpl, however there will be over 45 Perth sites selling below 146 cpl.
Given that Perth ULP prices follow a weekly cycle, with Thursday and Friday being the most expensive days, FuelWatch recommends filling up today and paying no more than 141.3 cpl.
Wednesday’s cheapest ULP is available for:
- 136.8 cpl at Better Choice Stratton in the East;
- 136.9 cpl at Caltex StarShop South Lake in the South; and
- 137.0 cpl at Puma Energy Gwelup in the North.
Thursday’s cheapest ULP will be available for:
- 136.6 cpl at Vibe Toodyay Rd in the East;
- 136.7 cpl at United South Lake in the South; and
- 136.8 cpl at Caltex Woolworths Ellenbrook, Caltex Woolworths Osborne Park, Coles Express Edgewater and Coles Express Mount Lawley in the North.
Tomorrow’s metropolitan average price for LPG will be 88.0 cpl, however there will be over 15 Perth sites selling below 80 cpl. Thursday’s cheapest LPG will be available for 76.9 cpl at Caltex Woolworths Mirrabooka.
