Fill up today if you want to pay less for your petrol – that’s the advice from FuelWatch.
On Thursday, 21 August 2014, most Coles Express sites are increasing their ULP price by 14 cents per litre (cpl) up to 152.9 cpl. Most BP and Caltex sites are increasing their ULP price up to 151.9 cpl, most Gull, Caltex Woolworths and Puma Energy sites up to 150.9 cpl and most Peak sites up to 149.9 cpl.
Tomorrow's metropolitan average price for ULP will be 149.4 cpl, however there will be over 30 Perth sites selling below 140 cpl. Given that Perth ULP prices follow a weekly cycle, with Thursday and Friday being the most expensive days, FuelWatch recommends filling up today and paying no more than 139.4 cpl.
Wednesday’s cheapest ULP is available for:
- 135.1 cpl at Caltex Woolworths Midvale in the East;
- 135.1 cpl at Caltex Woolworths South Lake and Caltex Woolworths Warnbro Fair in the South; and
- 135.1 cpl at Caltex Woolworths Clarkson, Caltex Woolworths Greenwood, Caltex Woolworths Joondalup Winton Rd and Caltex Woolworths Morley Galleria in the North.
Thursday’s cheapest ULP will be available for:
- 135.0 cpl at Puma Energy Lesmurdie and Puma Energy Mundaring in the East;
- 134.8 cpl at Coles Express Fremantle in the South; and
- 134.8 cpl at Coles Express Edgewater and Coles Express Mount Lawley in the North.
Tomorrow’s metropolitan average price for LPG will be 87.9 cpl, however there will be over 15 Perth sites selling below 80 cpl. Thursday’s cheapest LPG will be available for 75.9 cpl at Caltex Woolworths Mirrabooka.
