CPD guide for agents - real estate
The CPD program is compulsory professional development training for the real estate and business broking industries in Western Australia. All real estate agents and business agents are required to participate in the program and acquire 10 CPD points each calendar year.
All sales representatives, including those restricted to property management, are also required to participate in the program and acquire 10 CPD points per calendar year. The points are obtained by taking part in mandatory and elective training activities as specified in the CPD Guide.
The requirements of CPD are prescribed by legislation and failure to comply may result in a penalty of up to $5000.
The CPD program is part-funded by Consumer Protection (the mandatory component). Participants must bear the cost of attending any elective course. Please visit the approved elective activities page for a current list of elective courses and contact the training providers if you wish to enrol.
