You may be able to trade in your vehicle when you purchase a new or used one. Check with the dealer or seller.
Present your vehicle in the best possible way if you want to sell it. It would be a good idea to clean, wash and polish it, have any mechanical faults repaired and ensure everything is in working order (eg. lights, wipers, heater, air conditioning).
Check out various motor vehicle dealers. Do not just accept the first price offered. Trade-In offers may be quite different, depending on the type of vehicle, its condition, history, etc. Check newspapers, motor vehicle associations or related organisations for examples of the trade-in value of your vehicle.
Check the trade-in value written on your contract to purchase a vehicle.
