There is a fee to sell your vehicle at a public auction. It is usually a percentage of the selling price.
You need to advise the auctioneer of your reserve price. Once the reserve price is reached, the vehicle is then sold to the highest bidder. If the reserve price is not reached, the auctioneer will negotiate a price between the highest bidder and you.
