When you buy a vehicle from a dealer, it will come with a warranty - a manufacturer's warranty if it is new, and a statutory (dealer's) warranty if it is second-hand.
Note: Older second-hand vehicles and some types of vehicles may not be covered by the statutory warranty imposed by the Motor Vehicle Dealers Act 1973. All vehicles, both new and second-hand, will also come with additional guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.
