Western Australian Public Sector - Public Sector Commission
Employees in each agency should initially raise their concerns or attempt to deal with matters relating to unfair, unreasonable or inappropriate behaviour within their own agency before approaching the Public Sector Commission for advice.
The Public Sector Management Act 1994 requires the Public Sector Commissioner to establish the Code of Ethics for the Western Australian public sector. The Commissioner requires all public sector agencies to develop, implement and promote a Code of Conduct that is consistent with the Code of Ethics, and to ensure its employees comply with it. In addition to the Code of Ethics, it is each agency’s Code of Conduct that sets the standard and expected behaviour for its employees.
