Information sessions on accreditation and training for Level 1 BAL Assessors are to be held on Friday 14 August 2015 in Perth and Bunbury.

Facilitated by the Department of Planning, the Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES), the Office of Bushfire Risk Management and Building and Energy, the sessions will include:

  • an announcement of the accrediting body for bushfire assessors;
  • details about the upcoming training courses for Level 1 BAL assessors; and
  • a question-and-answer session with the accrediting body and government representatives.

Each session will run for one hour and places are strictly limited.

Bunbury – Friday 14 August 2015, 9.15 start for a 9.30am-10.30am session – at the Tower Conference Room, Level 10, Bunbury Tower, 61 Victoria Street, Bunbury

Perth – Friday 14 August 2015, 2.15pm start for a 2.30pm-3.30pm session – at the Exhibition Hall, Gordon Stephenson Building, 140 William Street, Perth

For those unable to attend an information session, an email update will also be released and an online recording of the Perth information session will be made available at a later date. 

For those in regional areas, depending on demand, a webinar question-and-answer session may be provided at a later date via video conferencing.
