Following recent changes to the Gas Standards (Gasfitting and Consumer Gas Installations) Regulations 1999, a gasfitting permit can be renewed up to 90 days before and no later than 30 days after the date of expiry of the permit. Beyond this 30 day period, you will no longer be able to apply to restore an expired gasfitting permit, and will need to submit a new application.
