If you were registered as a building practitioner in the past three years you will not need to provide evidence of your qualifications and experience to the Building Services Board. You will still need to demonstrate to the Board that you are suitable to be reissued and will need to complete the reissue application form. You must attach an original or certified copy of a current National Police Certificate to your application.

If you have never been registered or if your registration has been expired for three years or longer you will need to provide evidence of suitable qualifications and experience. If this is your situation, refer to initial registrations for information regarding current qualification and experience requirements and the applicable forms.

If you also intend to register as a building contractor, please also complete the building contractor application form.
