Free 2020 NCC Seminar videos available
Due to the health risks associated with COVID-19 the Australian Building Codes Board (ABCB) was unable to deliver the 2020 National Construction Code (NCC) Seminars. Instead they have produced 12 videos which are focused on highlighting changes included in the NCC 2019 Amendment 1.
Plumbing induction sessions
Building and Energy holds free information sessions for licensed plumbing contractors. These sessions will help to clarify plumbers' obligations under the Plumbers Licensing and Plumbing Standards Regulations 2000 as well as provide an opportunity to meet with other licensed plumbers, and talk to Building and Energy plumbing inspectors. New licensed plumbing contractors and existing licence holders in need of a refresher course are invited to attend.

Duration: One hour

2021 NCC seminar registrations are now open!
The National Construction Code (NCC) Seminar series returns to all capital cities again in May 2021.
The seminars provide a deep-dive into selected NCC content, especially application of the Building Code of Australia, and an overview of some provisions proposed for NCC 2022. You’ll hear from specialists on code content that's highly-relevant to your job and education.
The ABCB would like to assure you that we’ll be closely monitoring COVID-19 updates in the lead up to the seminars, and safety measures will be in place at each event. If we can’t hold an event due to COVID-19, your ticket will be refunded. Click here for full terms and conditions.
