Changes to plumbing services to survey strata lot developments (cancelled)

Energy efficiency in residential buildings 

Because of the health risks associated with COVID 19, the decision has been made to cancel the energy efficiency information sessions for Bunbury and Albany until further notice.

2020 NCC seminars – Perth

Registration is now open for the Perth metropolitan 2020 National Construction Code (NCC) seminars to be held on 1 and 2 April 2020 at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre. The seminars, presented by the Australian Building Codes Board, will focus on answering common technical enquires on the application of NCC Volumes One and Two and information relating to the changes contained in NCC 2019 Amendment 1 to be published and adopted out-of-cycle in 2020.

Building inspectors training (cancelled)

Because of the health risks associated with COVID 19, the decision has been made to cancel the Building Inspectors Training until further notice.

Plumbing induction sessions

Building and Energy holds free information sessions for licensed plumbing contractors. These sessions will help to clarify plumbers' obligations under the Plumbers Licensing and Plumbing Standards Regulations 2000 as well as provide an opportunity to meet with other licensed plumbers, and talk to Building and Energy plumbing inspectors. New licensed plumbing contractors and existing licence holders in need of a refresher course are invited to attend.
