Applying to restore your expired electrical licence is now even easier with our new online restoration service.
To use the new restoration service, you will need to know your licence number (which can be found on the front of your licence).
Also, in order for us to safeguard your personal information, you will need to have an email address or mobile telephone number currently recorded with Building and Energy so that when prompted, we can SMS and/or email you your personal one-time security access code.
As a result of the WA State Government’s $1 billion COVID-19 economic and health relief package, many licence/application fees have been discounted. Please note the fees listed here https://www.commerce.wa.gov.au/building-and-energy/schedule-fees-electrical-and-gas are correct as of 28 October 2020 and will only apply until 31 March 2021.
