In December 2016 and January 2017, the Building Commission ran free information sessions for building and construction industry participants relating to the amendments to the Construction Contracts Act 2004. Key changes began to come into effect from 15 December 2016 with the aim of creating greater flexibility for resolving payment disputes. Specifically the sessions covered the key changes made by Construction Contracts Amendment Bill 2016. An online version of this presentation has been made available.
