Exemptions

Renew charitable collections licence

Application for WA charitable collections licence

Submit at least 6 weeks prior to expiry date on existing licence

Renewal applications are not required if a continuous licence has been issued.

Update Principal Executive Officers (PEOs).

Change of charitable collections licence holder information

Must be lodged within 1 month of the change occurring

None

Submit Annual Financial Return and financial report.

Annual financial return with

1) a copy of the financial report; and

2) a copy of the review or audit report (for medium and large charities)

Must be lodged within 6 months after the end of the organisation’s financial year.

Not required if the licence holder is a registered charity with Australian Charities and Not-for-Profits Commission (ACNC).

  • contact details/address
  • auditor/reviewer details
  • change of name
  • change of corporate structure

Request licence cancellation

Voluntary cancellation of a charitable collections licence

To be submitted when decision is made to cease charitable collections in WA or wind up of the organisation has been finalised.
