CPD reminder - Settlement industry bulletin 93
30 October 2019
Time is running out - have you completed your 2019 CPD points?
With just two months remaining for the 2019 calendar year, Consumer Protection reminds you to check your Compulsory Professional Development (CPD) points tally. An audit carried out at the end of September found that:
- 28% of settlement agents have still not completed the core activities; and
- 28% of settlement agents have not obtained all the required points for 2019.
Failure to complete your CPD requirements could result in your licence not being renewed, or the suspension of your licence by the State Administrative Tribunal (SAT) until you meet your CPD requirements. The SAT may also reprimand or fine you. Visit our website for a comprehensive list of the mandatory and elective activities approved by Consumer Protection.
