This form is to be used by a person applying to the Building Commissioner for the grant of ‘provisional’ registration as an adjudicator under section 110 of the Building and Construction Industry (Security of Payment) Act 2021.

If the Building Commissioner determines that provisional registration is to be granted, you will be issued with a certificate of provisional registration on the day that section 110 of the Act is proclaimed to commence operation, i.e. 1 August 2022 or the next business day.

Registration as a provisional adjudicator entitles an individual to adjudicate adjudication applications (but not adjudication review applications) under the Act.
