This guidance note provides explanatory information to employers and employees about their rights and responsibilities on the election and function of safety and health representatives, establishment and function of safety and health committees, Provisional Improvement Notices (PINs) and resolution of safety and health issues at the workplace. 

Please note: this guidance note applies to all workplaces in Western Australia covered by the OSH Act or the MSI Act and should be used by all people involved in workplace occupational safety and health consultative arrangements established under these acts
