8 January 2018
Kick start 2018 by getting your CPD points done early!
Compulsory Professional Development (CPD) is a legal requirement for all licensed real estate agents and business brokers, as well as all registered real estate sales representatives and property managers. Failure to complete your CPD requirements could result in your triennial certificate or registration not being renewed.
Consumer Protection’s website provides detailed information about the CPD program for both mandatory and elective CPD activities, including details of the approved subjects for 2018.
The program provided by our contracted trainers is of high quality with over 90% of attendees in 2017 finding the content of sessions to be relevant and the presenters to be both professional and knowledgeable.
Distance Learning in 2018
In 2018, distance learning will be administered by Consumer Protection. Distance learners will be able to complete their mandatory CPD requirements via eLearning modules administered through a Learning Management System called LearnBook.
Further information on the eligibility criteria for distance learning is available on Consumer Protection’s website.
If you need to complete your mandatory CPD activities by distance learning, please contact the CPD team by email on firstname.lastname@example.org after the dates below so that you can be provided with access to the resources.
The eLearning modules are being developed in the first half of 2018 and will be ready for you to undertake by the dates below.
The four training organisations providing mandatory CPD activities are listed below and are able to be contacted for CPD bookings in January 2018. Please note that mandatory CPD sessions are available in venues across the Perth metropolitan area and in selected regional locations. Under the terms of their contracts, training providers are not able to deliver mandatory CPD outside of Western Australia.
