The online licence search can help you check if an organisation is licensed to collect for a charitable purpose in Western Australia. Licenced charitable organisations are subject to charity licensing conditions.

How to use the online licence search to find a licensed charitiy

Search by number: You can check if a licence number is still valid. Type the number into the field on the opening screen.

Search by type of licence: You can look for licensed organisations in your neighbourhood. Click on 'Type'. Choose 'Charity' from the licence type in then type in either a name or location.

Alternatively, you can search using the alphabetical listing of all charitable organisations licensed in Western Australia under the Charitable Collections Act 1946.
