Health and safety representatives (HSRs) contribute to improving the health and safety of the workers in the petroleum and geothermal facilities.  Trained HSR’s have powers under the Work Health and Safety Act 2020 to represent their work group in work health and safety matters and can be part of the preparation of a safety case along with other relevant workers.
