WorkSafe SmartMove is a Work Health and Safety (WHS) online educational program for senior high school students; young workers entering the workforce on work placement, work experience, or school-based trainee/apprenticeships; and workers entering the workforce for the first time. In addition SmartMove can be used by young people starting casual /part-time work or seasonal jobs.   

SmartMove features an animated character called SAMM (Spot the hazard, Assess the risk, Make the changes, and Monitor and follow up) who guides young people through the SmartMove Certificate program.

The program consists of the general module and industry modules. Each module breaks down into sections with a knowledge quiz at the end of each section. Graphic animations and gaming activities are incorporated throughout the modules.
