Motorists in Perth and Mandurah are advised to fill up now if they need to, with petrol prices set to rise tomorrow.

FuelWatch reports that, from 6am tomorrow (Wednesday 27 July 2022), the average price of regular unleaded petrol (ULP) will increase by over 23 cents per litre (cpl) to 186.5 cpl. Ampol, Caltex Woolworths and Coles Express hiking by up to 44 cpl up to 199.9 cpl; 7-Eleven up to 195.9 cpl; BP up to 193.9 cpl; Puma up to 193.7 cpl; and Vibe up to 189.7 cpl.

Despite the average hike tomorrow, there are still 43 individual sites offering prices below 160 cpl, so consumers should check the FuelWatch website to find the lowest price near them. Buying fuel from the cheapest site rather than the most expensive, a difference of 59 cpl, means motorists can potentially save $35 on a 60 litre tank.

Tuesday’s cheapest ULP is available for:

• 155.9 cpl at FastFuel 24/7 (Forrestfield) in the East;
• 152.8 cpl at Atlas Fuel Ascot in the South; and
• 154.0 cpl at Vibe Bullsbrook in the North.

Wednesday’s cheapest ULP will be available for:

• 155.9 cpl at FastFuel 24/7 (Forrestfield) in the East;
• 150.9 cpl at Atlas Fuel Ascot in the South; and
• 153.3 cpl at X Convenience Alkimos in the North.
