Motorists in Perth and Mandurah are advised to fill up now if they need to, with petrol prices set to rise tomorrow.

FuelWatch reports that, from 6am tomorrow (Wednesday 16 November 2022), the average price of regular unleaded petrol (ULP) will increase by 23 cents per litre (cpl) to 201.4 cpl. Coles Express hiking by up to 39 cpl up to 214.9 cpl; Ampol and Caltex/Puma up to 213.9 cpl; BP up to 212.9 cpl; 7-Eleven and EG Ampol up to 209.9 cpl; and Vibe up to 199.7 cpl.

Despite the average hike tomorrow, there are still 40 individual sites offering prices below 177 cpl, so consumers should check the FuelWatch website to find the lowest price near them. Buying fuel from the cheapest site rather than the most expensive, a difference of 48 cpl, means motorists can potentially save $28 on a 60 litre tank.

Tuesday’s cheapest ULP is available for:

  • 171.9 cpl at FastFuel 24/7 (Forrestfield) in the East;
  • 164.7 cpl at Costco Casuarina (membership based) and 167.5 cpl at Liberty Naval Base in the South; and
  • 172.5 cpl at BP Morley in the North.

Wednesday’s cheapest ULP will be available for:

  • 171.9 cpl at FastFuel 24/7 (Forrestfield) in the East;
  • 166.7 cpl at Costco Casuarina (membership based) and 167.5 cpl at Liberty Naval Base in the South; and
  • 173.3 cpl at Metro Malaga in the North.
