Survey – Energy efficiency requirements of the National Construction Code

The National Energy Efficient Buildings Project (NEEBP) is working to improve energy efficiency in new buildings, renovations and additions, on behalf of the Commonwealth, state and territory governments.

The NEEBP will deliver several national projects focussed on improving compliance with the energy efficiency requirements of the National Construction Code.

As part of the Sustainability House research, two national e-surveys have been released, seeking feedback from:

1. Private and council certifiersLink to survey for building certifiers
2. Energy efficiency assessorsLink to survey for energy efficiency assessors

The surveys will take no more than 10 minutes to complete and will be open until 17 April 2015.

Sustainability House is also seeking examples of compliance reports that demonstrate the different approaches used for alterations and additions.  Please email example reports to: research@suho.com.au.
